Our Lady of La Vang:   Displayed in our sanctuary for the month of May, the statue of the Blessed Virgin is an image of our Lady of La Vang from Vietnam and was donated to us by the Vu Family.
During the 18th century, struggles for power and domination besieged the country of Vietnam and threatened the Christian villagers.  Encouraging and consoling the people, the Blessed Mother appeared many times in the region of La Vang throughout the nearly one hundred years of religious persecution.
